Renovation of apartments in a block of flats on Harilaou Trikoupi in Athens.

ROTOR SA was entrusted with the subcontract of ANAX Group for the completion of the building on Harilaou Trikoupi Street.

In detail, the work undertaken by ROTOR is:

  • interior design of the building with conventional masonry,
  • installation of drywall materials Knauf
  • coatings
  • floor fillings
  • laying tiles and marbles
  • installation of thermal face
  • exterior and pavement design
  • painting of the building
  • insulation

It is a seven-storey building of 16 residences, which stands out from the oldest in the year of construction adjacent to the buildings due to the austerity of its architectural elements and the absolute symmetry of its façade. The above, combined with the color palette used on the outside, create a calm form, which is relatively rarely found in the restless architectural scene of the city center. On the ground floor, the existence of the porthole creates an open, but at the same time protected by the nature of the reception area, in front of the main entrance of the block of flats. On both sides of the entrance there are roofed and outdoor parking spaces. The indoor reception area houses a small living room, while the large openings ensure direct visual contact with the road. The residences are located on the upper floors, all located along the facade of the building and therefore benefit most of them from good natural lighting. They feature all the balconies facing the main road, while the properties on the highest floors have unobstructed views of Lycabettus and the Acropolis. The fifth, sixth and seventh floors are in retreat, creating large terraces to be used by the respective apartments. The internal architecture is simple, with no bold elements. The majority of apartments do not exceed 40sqm. on surface, therefore, design solutions have been implemented to highlight the qualities of a small space, enabling the exploitation of each square meter and offering flexibility in everyday life. Double glazing has been installed in all houses, achieving high levels of thermal and acoustic insulation, oak floors and excellent quality kitchen furniture, wardrobes and sanitary ware.
